You need to seek independent legal advice as soon as possible regarding a Civil Action Claim as well as making a formal complaint to the relevant Police Authority.

They will refuse. However there's a way round the rules. 1. Make a crime report of an assault. You can even name the officer in this case. Do it online 2. Do nothing for a week 3. Then ring up 101 with the report reference number, and as for the crime reference number. Not the same thing. There won't be one because creating a crime for it triggers a whole mess the police don't want to deal with. 4. With no crime reference number, you now make the complaint about fraud. Yes fraud for not recording the crime. Officers have gone down for this. A couple of them in Kent. 5. Wait a week. 6. Then follow up and ask if the officers have been reported to professional standards by other officers under section 10 of the police code of ethics. If not, that's a second complaint.

There was much misconduct going on, but one thing stood out. After the search and detainment, they put you in handcuffs to prevent you from recording. That alone should be a criminal case for false imprisonment and civil liberty violation. Please sue them and don’t settle without a public apology.

Yeh i feel sorry for the good coppers, these bad cops cause sooo much damage in terms of trust and respect from the public, i think most people have a default genuine respect for police, even just as humans not even police, then they experience situations like this either personally or hearing other peoples bad interactions and it causes a complete loss of trust and respect which is unfortunate for the guys doing good policing.
